yep... they will fit, but it is not exactly plug and play.. However, if you order your new ones from Bekkers http://www.bekkers.com, they will be able to send you exactly what you will need. Basically, the lights are identical but the wiring is different because of the angel eye rings. The 2000 car does not have rings, hence it does not have wiring for the rings. The Bekkers folks have solved this problem however and will send you the correct wiring harness along with the new lights. The only other thing to remember is that you will need to re-use the HID charging units (those are the little silver boxes located on the back side of each light assembly) inside of the new lights, as the new light kits do not come with this.

Good luck! btw: expect to pay about $1000.00 for the pair from Bekkers. Quite a bit less than from the dealer, and these are actually OEM lights they get directly from BMW.
