Yes, I'm afraid so -- my M5's being replaced with, of all things, an LX470 SUV. This is one of those moments which defies easy explanation, but suffice it to say spousal happiness is more important than any car.

So...

For sale:
'00 BMW M5, Titanium silver / Black leather / Wood trim
14,900 miles
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Condition: immaculate. No accidents, bumps, scrapes, or harsh language.
Edmunds private party price without additions: $71,500
OEM additions: Park distance control, StarTac phone integration kit, Voice Recognition system, Homelink. ($800)
DINAN additions: Stage 3 suspension, Exhaust, Intake, Wheels, Front & Rear strut tower braces, ECU reprogramming. ($11,000)
Other additions: Enhanced bass by Precision Car Stereo (Alumipro & Nakamichi). ($1500)
Price: $72,000 firm.
Conditions of sale: First one to show up with money gets the car.

If someone out there wants an M5 and intends to add any Dinan parts, this has to be the best deal I've ever seen.

Cheers,
Ben
