Yhe trick would work in european BMW's up to late 1999 or early 2000 year model. in the USA if you try to retrofit the module and you buy it directly from BMW the trick would work PERIOD.

I have developed for over 2 months a software upgrade to the video modules and now the block is removed in my upgraded video modules, Check it out:
