Anyone have any opinions on the use of sport mode? Is it OK to use all the time. Any advantages to not using it so often (other than fuel economy)? Is there any way to make it default to ON position on 2000 M5?


According to the factory manager at the M5 Experience driving school the Sport button advances cam timing and thus always reduces fuel efficiency. (Like that's why we bought the car, right?)
