by full maintenance, then the clutch disc should be too.

I bought a 2000 M5 and after 16,000 miles the clutch started slipping real bad. I took it to the dealership and they told me that the cost of replacement is $1600 because this is normal wear and tear and is not covered! I can't beleive this. I've had a 1999 540 6 speed and had 60,000 miles on it without even once replacing the clutch. So I know its NOT my driving.

Is there any advise anyone out there can give me. I've heard that BMW had know that there is an abundant amount of complaints regarding the M5 clutch. I've gathered about 15 different accounts of the same thing happening with other M5 owners. Any advise would help.

Thank

Mike
