out from under my hood. pulled over immediately and thought that the replacement fan that was installed this past wednesday caused a fire. opened the hood and saw oil all over the place...even on the rear bumper area. seems as if the oil came out under extreme pressure...scaled the hood insulation pretty good. just had the oil and filter changed at the dealer yesterday (actually, the dealer put 10-60 oil in on wednesday; i had them change the oil to 5-30 yesterday, per the senior master technician at the dealer). the oil cap was on tightly.

any thoughts on what happened? the car is a 01 m5 with 3.3k miles.
