i estimate that i lost maybe 2 quarts of oil (but the dip stick showed oil at the top of the band when i got the car back yesterday from the dealer, so i guess i was 1 quart below the lower band). will the diagnostics be able to show any engine damage? if this is indeed the case, perhaps i should insist on a new engine??? or is this extreme?
