first write BMWNA a complaint letter.
I fried my clutch on my M3 and I knew it was me, so I bought a new clutch 400 bucks and had a local mechanic install it. 250 bucks. make sure you tell your mechanic to me sure he puts the transmission on a clothed surface so you dealer cant tell if it was replaced. dealer tried to screw me with new clutch+flywheel 1000, 6 hrs labor, (WHICH is horse shit took my mechanic two solid hrs and a lemonade break) so if you tow it a way and they charge you 600 bucks for taking apart the transmission ask to see the manager.
