I left the spoiler off my 01 M5 for looks. Mine was Euro delivery and I had the speed limiter disabled in Germany. I borrowed a set of tires and wheels that had been shaved and went for several really, really fast blasts on the A8. It isn't a race car... anything over 165 indicated caused high anxiety and high pucker factor due to soft suspension, not lack of downforce in the rear. The front end gets light!
