To answer your questions:
1) New body (e60) will happen in 2003. But don'r expect M5 models for at least 'till 2005.

2) You can pretty much bank on "SMG-III" for the E60 M5. Rumor has is it will be a V-10 w/ 500HP.

It will NOT be steptronic thou. 6 spd Steptronic will be available on 545.

Two questions:
1) When does the new body type come out for the M5?

2) Have you heard of any plans to add a tiptronic/automatic option in the future M5 models?
