SUBWOOFER PROBLEM! (archive)

I currently own a 95 740IL with factory premium sound system. My problem is that one of the factory subwoofers behind the back seat makes ugly rattling noise whenever there is a kick drum or a bass in the music. The dealer told me that I should replace that subwoofer which will cost about $400-$500. Is there anyway that I can fix that subwoofer?. If not, can I get the exact same subwoofer cheaper from some place other than the dealers(I prefer new ones). If I could, what is the exact model # and how do I install it myself?. Thankyou, and I appreciate your help!
