Why does BMW charge for fold down rear seats on some models? Wouldn't be much easier to just incorporate them? I mean who would want to not have the rear seats fold?

BMW charges for everything. They give you a low MSRP price, but who really buys one at MSRP? By the time you finish your "dream" BMW. You've probably shelled out another $10k in options which are usually standard on other models.

There's no doubt they make fine cars, but as long as they can get away with overcharging, they will.
