I met him in the parking lot of a hospital over fifteen years ago when I looked like death warmed over. I had just gotten discharged from being hospitalized for a collapsed lung, 6 broken ribs, a lacerated forehead (still in the Civil War-style wrap around bandage) and lacerated leg. He was visiting a boy who had been intentionally burned by his father in a failed attempt to murder him. (Reggie is great for those public displays of concern, when it's for the record.)

I, being a native New Yorker and major Yankee fan, recognized him immediately. I asked for his autograph by saying "hi Reggie, can I have your autograph." (we were in the middle of a huge parking lot with nobody in sight) He responded by saying he was not Reggie Jackson. I laughed, thinking he was joking, and reiterated my request. He again denied who he was. My girlfriend at the time asked if he was sure he was not Reggie Jackson, to which he responded by asking her name. When she told him her name he asked sarcastically "are you sure?" What a dick.

Just an off-topic story for everyone. Hope you enjoyed hearing what an anti-hero Mr. October is.

As for his M5, he sold it back to a local dealer only to get pissed off and take the car back when they had the odasity to attempt to sell it for a profit.
