Can you imagine being a CHP officer and driving an M5 every day? I wonder if I apply for a job, could I request the M5?

T5s are the typical police cruiser all over Europe. CHP tested Volvo T5s, they flunked the test. Fast, but too maintainance intensive, too small. Also, automatics. Don't think an M5s clutch would last long with most patrolmen.

Dutch Highway Patrol still use Porsche Targas as interceptors, if you're looking for a neat place to apply for a job.
