01 gray instrument faces (archive)

Is it feasible to install the black instrument faces from an '00 in my '01? Any idea how much work/$$ it might be? Anyone want to swap their '00 black ones for the '01 gray version? Why the f%$^ did BMW change this? ...it looks like a kids car with gray.
