Got my M5 finally! (archive)

It arrived in Beaumont 2 weeks after the ship was scheduled to arrive in the US. I think it actually went through SC, not NJ, according to the window sticker.

That cosmoline is a bear! I extracted a ton from the seams and even off two of the wheels!

It took two days, but it's now fully protected with Zaino. It drives amazingly well!

Has anyone noticed that the stopwatch on the 2002 NAV doesn't behave properly as described in the manual ? When you push "play", the marker does not change to "stop", which makes it very difficult to make short measurements, and pretty much impossible for the driver. I'm also not too hot on the gray-face gauges, but I'll live.

More impressions after I get the courage to turn on the "sport" button. (I never got a chance to test drive an M5, so this is it!)
