Ahhhh....Tell me it aint so! (archive)

My neighbor is a industrial designer with connections to firms like GM. The story goes- his friend at GM filled him in on this little "secret". He could not clarify what he ment by "makes"- whether he thought they make parts, assemble, or designed the motor.

I am aware of the corporate agreements and affiliations in this industry but, I realy doubt BMW would allow GM to have anything to their premier motor.

Pleas tell me it aint so! And if you do tell me where I can find some facts to through back at my neighbor.
