I've also thought at times that maybe I should upgrade my 01 540/6 with dinan stage 3 susp and only 6000 miles to an M5. Here is what I've decided to do. The 540 is an absolutely wonderful daily driver. I'm starting to get over the paranoia that comes with driving a noce car on a daily basis. I am sure that if I were to drive an M5 every day I'd be a basket case. So, what I'm going to do is get another car--when I can afford it. What I'm most strongly considering now is a roadster, likely either a Honda S2000 or a Boxster S for those nice days and for the days when I feel like really doing some aggressive driving.
