If you currently have an old V1 model, you can check their website, put in your serial number and it will tell you the cost of an "upgrade"...actually what you do is send in your old unit and they send you a new version for a couple hundred bucks.

this may be old news for some but i just bought a new V1 and low and behold its a new case, smaller and lighter. I called them back and was told they have been shipping this smaller version for 2 months.
