certainly on the FDR Drive, 3rd Avenue, Skyline Drive, Route 80 and many other roads in and around NYC. I am not suggesting 6th gear redline in all those places, but a good winding out of second or third, downshift of 2 gears, hard braking - it's all part of the funnnn! As stated by others, to truly test the car's capabilities, you likely need a racetrack ( possible exception being Diplomat plates ....) In the end, I would much prefer a car that has potential to do more than I will likely use as opposed to driving a car in which I will actually be pushing it to its limits frequently ( read:safety )
