Finally, I pick up my 2002 M5 on Monday ( Carbon / Caramel )
Any helpful tips on pickup ? - there was a posting a while back on what mileage should be ( < 10 ? ). Any other pearls of wisdom ? Did anyone use one of those fancy paint thickness gauges to verify that nothing was repainted - being in Manhattan I am a natural cynic, coupled with the fact that one of these devices was used on my 540i during trade-in evaluation, so I'd like to know if some bozo scratched it in transit necessitating touch up. Any other thoughts appreciated, and I look forward to arranging some NYC area events. Thanks in
