I bought an M5 this week, 01 with low miles, anthracite/caramel, from a great guy in the NY area. It will take a couple of weeks to get the car out to me in the SF Bay Area...I'm getting really pumped up about it.

Could you experts tell me what to be looking out for in the first weeks of ownership...the car's been broken in by the book, oil service, etc. Is the UGDO hard to program?

The only thing I can think of is that I need to swap my Nav CD (east coast) for a California CD. Do you get these from the dealers or are there other sources?

Also, anyone know of good detailers in the East Bay?

Anyway, I will post some pix next week when I get home and a full suite after the car gets here and is detailed.
