Try the Dunlop Winter Sport M2s. 245/40-18 front and 265/35-18 rear. These are V rated, and handle well when the ground is dry. The rears will be an imperceptible 1/10th of an inch lower than the 275/35 dry tires...less than brand-to-brand variations.

Keep in mind...when the snow is falling, you can still get stuck on mounds of snow that haven't been plowed. These low ground clearance cars do have some limitations.
