Dealer told me stock M5 wheels can't be (m) (archive)

repaired at all (i.e. dents or even curb rash). Something to do with the special finish - can't be imported here or something???? Not sure I understood what he was telling me. Anyone have any info. If true, I definitely will get different wheels (and not another set of those) for winter.

Related Q: Anyone know what tires/wheels BMW sells as a winter package for the M5. I know it's some type of 17" alloy wheel (according to same sales guy), but he had no other info.
