Had a porsche 911 for the last 4 yrs and enjoyed it. Took a M5 out for a run yesterday - one word, WOW!

Loved it - the sound, the feel, the POWER, these things are telepathic - think you want to accelerate, you're there. Bit ordinary without the sport button engaged but altogether better fun than the porsche and, my boss's E55.

Great car - make that awesome. I want one too. Drop me a line if you hear of a deal.

I had a 911, too. Not to be critical, but I found the ride to be too harsh and the acceleration to be lacking. Plus, the exhaust note was subdued. I now have an M5 and all those things are improved. A really great car.
