Hello,

Just wondering if the enhanced 10" dual subs is just as good as most aftermarket subs...

Anyone selling there 10" M5 subs?

Peter

Peter,

I've heard a 2001 M5 with the enhanced M bass audio option and although it sounds quite a bit better than a 2000 car without it... it still does not come close to aftermarket stuff - IMHO! It will depend on whether or not you are an audiophile or not?? if not, then this option is probably worth it to you. If you are?, then I would instead invest in some good aftermarket subs. I installed 2 Kicker free-air subs under my rear deck with a Precision Power 2X150 amp in bridged mode...along with all new speakers (MBQuart Q series) inside the cabin - and it sounds GREAT!!
