Hey a friend of mine was saying that the Audi RS4 will kill an M5 in acceleration, top speed, and handling around the track.

He asked this same question at www.rs4.org and they were saying that the RS4 is soo much better.

Anyways, I don't buy it.

What do you guys think?

I own an S4 which had been modded to about 350Hp
and 370lbs torque, i have timeslips somewhere good
for 4.8 from 0-60 and 1/4 at 13.2 Guys on audiworld posted slips of 12.8-12.9 with the same mods, so i would say that RS4 and M5 are very close in performance numbers-means its all left to
the driver.I will be ordering an M5 for spring JUST because i want more space and something different, not because BMW has more "prestige value" to it. I have a lot of respect for both cars and makes, they are both beatiful cars, both
fun to drive. Yes, capable driver will drive an M5
in the winter with not much trouble, but quattro makes you wish for heavy snow. Its not whats faster, its what you enjoy, or else we would all
be driving supra TT which will outperform anything
with 5k worth of mods..
By the way, you have to agree-S4 is a very good
value for the $.
