NAV system question (archive)

How do I set my NAV system so it just shows me where I am and doesn't direct me where to go? I don't want to input artificial destinations, but that seems to be the only way.

Also, I have the volume all the way down, but still can't get rid of the voice.

Any help would be appreciated.
