'jokingly' -- there are "speeding" tickets (a scaler quantity for all you engineers out there) not "acceleration" tickets (a vector quantity). Well, you can always get a reckless driving charge but my point is that you may get a ticket for going above the posted (say 65mph) speed limit but not for how long it took you to get there. And I can tell you that you can get there quicker in the M5 than the 540i/6 and it is "FUN" too!
