I liked my '99 540/6 a lot, So much so that I decided to get an '01 M5. I felt all the 540/6 lacked was more power & a little crisper handling, particularly less body roll.

I've subsequently added Dinan Stage III suspension, software & exhaust & I feel the car is now perfect for me. I wouldn't consider switching back.
