I'm going with the style 66 M-parallel wheels in size 8" x17". These are supposedly recommended by BMW according to two dealer parts guys. Looking for recommended 235/45-17 snows. I'm down to following:

Pilot Alpin
Blizzak LM-22
Pirelli Snowsport 210

Anybody have experience with any of these or have comments? I'm looking for some dry road performance too because most of the time the roads are clean.

TIA,
Norm

I'm using blizzak mz 01 on my m5, because I've had previous experience with them on a 500+hp supra twin turbo. They are fantastic on snow & ice, but you do have to give up some cornering fun on dry pavement, but not all that much. They are q rated and I've had pretty good luck in the tread wear experience. Keep them filled to within three psi of max pressure and you'll be very satisfied.
