I had mine replaced with titanium and it peeled again. unfortulately, it is a cheap finish and the leather is a better solution.

BTW - I have also had my parking brake handle and center console replaced as well due to peeling.



I've got a 2001 Jet Black with Titanium trim. After about 8 months the stick began to peel. Motor Works of Barrington ordered a new stick twice. Both were for a 5 speed. The third stick came in the other day and it was all black leather with the same illuminated face. They tell me BMW does not make the Titanium any more and this is what I get, take it or leave it. Has anyone gotten their Titanium stick replaced with Titanium?
