Question/Survey for M5 owner, RE: DINAN.......... (archive)

I am planning to purchase a new M5. Im aware that Dinan is an American Tuning Co. that makes various products for BMW's. They appear to have a good line of products for the BMW 540i. The items also seem to be worth the price.
Dinan's products for BMW's M5 line of car, appears to be way out of line! On top of this, their product for the M5 doesn't even increase the power for the M5 car. It cost approx. $3500.00 for their cold air intake system, software download and their exhaust. WHAT GIVES?????
How many M5 owners did the Dinan upgrades? Was it worth it? If so, why did you do it ot how is it worth the expense?
It seems as though it is not a cosy effective purchase, in comparison to the 540i upgrades, considering you do get true power from the Dinan uograde when adding the items onto a 540i. Is Dinan a waist of money for the M5 owner?
