Is it nobody knows or it was a severely moronic question?
(oops - opened myself up for abuse there).

Rgds,
Norm

It plugs into the lighter outlet. Anybody know if that would keep power to the systems while I disconnect the battery - or - if it would cause any harm to do that? Link has info on it to see what I mean.

Rdgs,
Norm

probably don't provide any power unless they sense a voltage within a reasonable range (i.e. to prevent trying to charge a totally dead battery, etc). So, I don't think it would work.

Thanks anyway,
Norm
