i also disagree... as you are comparing apples with oranges...look at the displacement of the cars you are comparing with BMW mostly V8's then you throw in the 3-series. 6's and 4's with displacents under 3.0L hmmm

Nonsense - you already have a driver's license. It's drivers, not cars, where the problems lie.

In fact, BMWs are quite safe. Some BMW drivers, however, are not, but all-in-all, the figures for BMW drivers in terms of deaths per 10,000 accidents are about the same as the average for all cars.

By the way, if you aren't simply another troll and you actually tried "Looking at all the car accidents and the risk posed to property and life..." (too much bother, I'm sure), you'd find that the deadliest cars; cars with most deaths per 10,000 accident are, in order, Corvette (4.9), Camaro (4.7), Mustang (4.4), and Firebird (3.8). BMW 3 series, by comparison, is barely above the overall average of 2.0.

The "big four" have a perfect mix for a disaster in the making...testosterone and alcohol, as they appeal to a youg demographic and are relatively inexpensive, particularly used.
