mine has done 41k miles as you say slightly higher than first mark and loves up and down a little

at 12 o'clock high? Other BMW's I have had ran in the center. However, my '01 M5 consistently runs a hair above the first dot. Sometimes it goes a bit higher and sometimes falls to the first dot - but it never runs at the center. Cabin heats up fine and there are no fault messages. Problem? Any ideas?

Rdgs,
Norm

Interesting. Service advisors at two dealers said it should typically read straight up. I'm bringing it in on the 23rd Jan to check it out. Maybe sensor is off a bit, guage not calibrated correctly, etc. Will post results after.

Rds,
Norm
