thanks guys for the opinions...i went with the M5. The deciding factor was that id rather wait and get the the turbo next year after my second business gets off the ground and things are going well. I figured if your going to be a bear , why not a grizzley bear.

...and not to mention the dealer is making it hard to refuse the deal on the M5. 2002,w/ m audio and fold down seats,b/b and $68k out the door. At least something..... my friends and I have bought about 7 cars from that dealer in the last 3 1/2 years

can anyone help me decide on an 2002 m5 or 2002 911 c4. i currrntly have a 2001 540 and wanted to upgrade but the 911 looked tempting --i must make a decision by saturday. anyone have any pros or cons?
I have read that there is a rear tire issue that sales never mentions for the 993 or 996. 10-11K on rear tires is not uncommon. I had the same dilemma your in. I rented both cars for 2day periods. I bought a 2002 M5 and never look back. Personal preference after extended test drives.
