Beewang—it's the first time I have heard about the "curvation" factor. I will follow your advise and check it out over the weekend.

Thanks.

ergonomics (shape, etc) are somewhat different in one with and one w/o fold-downs. The armrest in the one with regular seats is a bit bigger (and, if it's like my 540i) also has cupholders). Not sure about my M5 though with fold downs because I haven't been in the back seat much. But - like I'm going to let someone drink in the back seat and put coffee or Coke in that stupid cupholder? Not bloody likely! Now, you really should compare. If rear seat comfort is an absolute high priority for you, then you might want to go with the regular seats. I had both and can say that they are somewhat more curved to the body, kind of curves more around you side-to-side. As far as softness, I don't really recall much difference. For me, I wished I had gotten the fold downs after having my 540i w/o, so the choice was simple. But again, I would not argue that the regular seats are more comfortable - they are a bit - it's just that I think it's not a night & day difference but only marginally different. You should decide. Take someone with you to help you compare.

Oh, Bee and I are just having fun. He likes to beat me to a bloody pulp and I like to get back up and hit him again. It seems to work.

Rdgs,
Norm
