or a hidden post in a parking lot you didn't see just one time, I think you'd feel it was worth it. I don't need it to parallel park very often, but it really helps to see things you don't see, particularly behind you. I don't get that the dots detract from the appearance. They aren't any worse than wiper blades or turn signals or the black strip in the bumper.
