I live in NYC 3 months out of the year. My garage sells these removable diapers for the car. It may look stupid, but they work! E-mial me and I can get you the phone number to call for them.

The parking garages tend to be generally good but they do back up your car until it contacts the car behind you and the front license plate bolts of the other car damage the bumper skin. My 528ia has a lot of these marks but I am picking up an '02 530 and really do not want this to happen. Tipping prior to parking helps. Does anyone make anything that you could easily install when you park to protect against this?
