The potential for the new M6 is enormous, my chief concern, however, is how much Bangle decides to screw up the final design. For instance, call me incapable of change, but the eye-brow treatment of the indicators in the new 7 series is just not the way to go (even if you compare it with the wonderful lenses of the current 3-series coupe - NOT the facelifeted sedans). Engine specs are fantastic, and if they manage to address burgeoning weight problems, the final car should be great.

The new 5 has the same look as the new 7 in front. The rear however is much more like the new 3 series and less 'sculpted' than the new 7. For me it took much less getting used to. The I drive is in the new 5.

With regards to the M6, it was hard for me to say too much, I will get the picture. It looked good though, of what I saw of it.

I am mad at myself for not bringing the pictures home. Until this board I did not think anyone would be interested.
what was your impression of the E60 5 series?

I travel to Germany often, I have seen but not driven the new E60 5 series. I did see pictures of the M6. This is based on the E60 platform and it is a coupe version (2 door). The engine is a V10 that is expected to have more than 500hp. I will be in Germany again in march I will get the picture and post.
