My friend's 2000 M5 was sandblasted en route home from Las Vegas. It's at the bodyshop and they are questioning the "angel eye" headlight swap claiming the computer will not be compatible with the swap...Can anyone help with advice, part numbers, ideas, etc??

with the angel eye lights?? the only caveats when doing this upgrade are:

1) you need to re-use the old ballasts (charging units)

2) you will need to re-wire the harness to accomodate the angel eye rings, which were not present on the 2000 lights.. no biggie though... just power them up from the turn signal light harness and you are good to go.
