After that, the dealer has to pay the charges, or opt to "punch" the car (i.e. In Service Date)so it would not go in with other cars in the unsold inventory. This tactic saves the dealership some $$ but the warranty on the car starts ticking. THERE IS NO WAY A 2001 MODEL M5 IS SITTING IN THE DEALER LOT, AND NOT BEEN PDI'd!!
