540iA Sport Package (archive)

I have a 2000 540ia with a sport package sold originally in Canada. The sport package(916) came with M sport suspension, cross spoke 17" wheels and shadowline trim. I had heard that 2 sport packages were offered in Canada and wanted to know more about each, such as differential gear ratio in 916 package, is it positaction. Also wanted to know the reasoning why all 4 tire and wheel sizes are the same 235/45 r 17 94y.
