I ask that because I got this response on the E34 525 forum:

"In 95, all 5 series came with the M5 sideskirts which were curved and color matched like you noted, so you may want to look for mudflaps for the M5 in order to match the curvature of the sideskirt. Good Luck!"

and I found this out on the E34 website:

Can anyone validate this for me because on these forums the M5 is listed as an E39. I really don't know the details between the designations (that would be nice), so I need some kind of cross-verification on this before I go do purchasing. That statement would make me believe the E34 and E39 are the same body...
