Same size as the knockout where your instrument lighting brightness knob is over by the headlight switch on the left of the steering wheel.

The rectangular knockout left of the foglight switch is where the headlight height adjustment goes. For rear fogs, there is simply another position on the rotary dial (hence the reason they used a rotary dial instead of just a button to turn the front fogs on and off in US models).

I'm guessing you bought this car used ? The light is probably something the previous owner installed for a security system or K40 stealth-installed radar detector.
