Unless you've used it and love it, I wouldn't get it. I don't like the looks of the holes in the bumper trapping wax, and I've been driving quite well without it all my life. The 5 series is not long enough or tall enough to need it IMO.

I agree. There was a post a while back about someone depending on it working while parking. He kissed the guys bumper behind him because he trusted it too much and it did not work - maybe dirty sensors or malfunction. Oh well. Also, I guess if there's a kid that close to your bumper when you pull out, you should be shot anyway!
