Owned e36 M3 then e46 M3 then C 32 the MB is really fast and has 4 doors. No tranny clunk, cold start stalling and having to always turn on the sport mode button like the e 46 M3. It is too bad that there is no M3 4 door in the e46 lineup. The M5 is great but a little heavy and large for my tastes and budget. I am driving the MB by default but the rack/pin. steering feels much more BMW like than previous MB models with the recip. ball setup. One final comment the six speeds in the e46 M3 and M5 SUCK the old five speed box in the e36 M3 and presently in the M coupe and roadster are much better. Drive safe and try not to flame.
