It looks like an indicator light from an "undetectible" K40 radar detector with coverage at front only. I have this system, but have 2 indicators. One for front one for rear. In your picture the light looks the same as mine.Mine are not located where yours are. Mine are located ahead and behind of telephone mike. In the plastic piece.

Do you have a pic? How can I tell if it is K-40? Where do wires from this indicator go and where is the unit installed? Also, how is it activated (turned on or off)? It could also be something previous owner uninstalled and took with him I guess.
