look... I dunn want to get into a flame war, but numbers don't lie. Stop by your local magazine stand and pick up an 4/2002 issue of MT.

Fact is... stock to stock, current M5 outperforms current E55. Its just one of those things... 0.39 seconds in ANY racing is not close at all.
